Track 01 • Autonomous

Maize Game

Micro-robots navigate a complex 16×16 unit square maze autonomously from a corner start zone to the center destination square and exit along the optimal path.

  • Control: 100% Autonomous (No Remote Controls)
  • Arena: 18×18cm unit squares, 3cm walls
  • Access Time: 5 minutes total maze test window

Track 02 • Team Match

Robot Football

Action-packed 2 vs 2 Robotics Premier League. Each school deploys a Goalkeeper Bot and Striker/Field Bot to defend their goal, dribble, tackle, and score.

  • Team Lineup: 1 Goalkeeper Bot + 1 Striker Bot
  • Match Time: 5 mins (Two 2.5 min halves + 30s break)
  • Dimensions: Max 25×25×25cm per robot

Track 03 • Speed & Precision

Fastest Line Tracer

High-speed optical path navigation. Round 1 tests steady-state tracking on circular courses; Round 2 triggers head-to-head sprint racing across intricate intersections.

Track 04 • Traditional Tech

7 Stone Challenge

A tech adaptation of traditional Indian Lagori. Robotic strikers aim to knock down the 7 stone stack and reassemble them while executing tactical defensive maneuvers.

  • Mechanism: Aiming projectile & stack rebuilder
  • Voltage: Max 12V DC system
  • Team Size: Up to 4 student members
  • Scoring: Time to knockdown & stack rebuild points

Age Categories & Eligibility

RobotzIndia is open to all recognized schools, STEM academies, and student robotics clubs across India. Competitions are bifurcated into two age brackets to ensure fair, challenging play.

Primary School Division Ages 8 – 12

Tailored for students in Classes 3 through 7. Focuses on foundational mechanical builds, sensor calibrations, basic microcontrollers (Arduino / micro:bit), and team collaboration.

High School Division Ages 13 – 17

Tailored for students in Classes 8 through 12. Focuses on advanced sensor telemetry, rapid PID controllers, dual-band wireless telemetry, autonomous maze algorithms, and custom BFS chassis engineering.

Universal Technical & Safety Regulations

All robots entering the arena must pass an initial pre-match technical inspection by RAAIF jury officials.

Can one school register teams for multiple competition tracks?
Yes! A school can register multiple teams across Maize Game, Robot Football, Line Follower, and 7 Stone. Individual students can also participate in multiple tracks if scheduling permits.
Is a teacher or mentor required to accompany the team?
Yes, every school delegation must have at least one designated teacher/mentor as the official point of contact for team reporting and safety.
What should the engineering logbook contain?
The logbook should record the team's design journey, circuit schematics, component list, code snippets, test trial notes, and challenges overcome. Incomplete logbooks may lead to point deductions during technical evaluation.
Are commercial development boards (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi) allowed?
Yes! Standard development boards, sensors (IR, ultrasonic, optical, encoders), motor drivers (L298N, TB6612FNG), and custom 3D-printed/laser-cut parts are fully encouraged.
